WELCOME TO CHERRY STREET RECORDS!

Cherry Street Records is a brand-new outfit run by seasoned musicians Paul Forrester and Geoff Browne in the Bard’s birthplace, Stratford-upon-Avon.

SO WHAT ARE WE OFFERING, YOU ASK…?

1. Free studio time

Record in our friendly Stratford studio with brilliant session musicians and all kinds of equipment at your disposal (see all the nerdy details here). You’ll only pay for the engineer’s time, and any CDs or tapes you take away.

2. Professional-sounding demos

Burn top-quality demo tracks with support from our in-house team of industry stalwarts.

3. Career support

Want to take it further? Cherry Street Records can represent you on a per-record basis. We’ll also help you market your music to listeners in the UK.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Singers (male and female; pop, rock and R&B)
Keyboard players
Anyone who can operate a Roland or Boss drum machine

AND NO, THIS ISN’T A SCAM

If all this sounds too good to be true, don’t worry. We’re not after your money! We just want your talent and a little of your time.
After many years in the industry – over a century, between us – we’ve amassed a back catalogue of over 300 songs. We think they’re pretty good, but nobody’s ever heard most of them. So if you want to come and lay down some tracks, all we ask is that you take the time to record a couple of our numbers, too. We’re keen to foster new talent, and we don’t want all that material to go to waste.

IT’S AS SIMPLE AS THAT

We love music, we love recording, and we love finding and supporting new talent. We want Cherry Street Records to be a fun, productive community for musicians starting out on their careers. So just ask yourself: can we help you?
If you have any questions or want to know more, we’re up for that. Just get in touch via our Contact page
